Bacci Stables owner and main rider is Nicolas Diaz-Bacci.  He grew up in Uruguay and started his equestrian career at a young age.  Nicolas has an extensive knowledge of equine health and management, which he has developed by completing three years of Veterinary School, and barn management while in Uruguay. After arriving to the United States Nicolas continued extending his education by attending a one year program in horseshoeing school.  He is always furthering his knowledge in all aspects of equine management and training.

 

Nicolas has an abundance of experience starting young horses.  For a consecutive 10 years, he has competed in showjumping with horses of all ages up to 1mt40 classes.

 

Nicolas believes that in order to be successful in any equestrian sport one must focus on mastering the basic classic fundamentals without taking any shortcuts.  Learning to properly communicate with your horse while understanding equine bio-mechanics will teach them to be supple, leading to excellent results in terms of performance and horse longevity in the sport.
